Relational Permanency
In an attempt to respond to recognized gaps in services and resources, specifically advocacy, youth participation/engagement, and positive youth development, this project will focus on ensuring that older youth and young adults have increased involvement in their permanency planning, and that youth exit the foster care system with a supportive, permanent adult relationship (relational permanency).
We will be working with those older youth and young adults to identify and seek out birth and extended family, relatives, kin, siblings, former resource parents, new resource/adoptive parents, and other important adults to provide permanent relationships for older children and young adults.
